Merindu Lagi (Pada Kekasih Orang)
About this Song
Pop, as a global sound that shifts and shapes to reflect local creative traditions, finds vivid expression in Merindu Lagi (Pada Kekasih Orang), a work from the Indonesian band Yovie & Nuno, an act that has shaped the country’s pop landscape for more than two decades. Founded by Yovie Widianto, a multi-hyphenate creator whose credentials extend beyond his own groups to include work as a pianist, songwriter, and producer, Yovie & Nuno first emerged under the name Yovie & The Nuno when they debuted in 2001, carrying forward the creative momentum Yovie had built leading another seminal Indonesian group, Kahitna, which earned widespread success throughout the 1990s.
