About this Song
Wali, the only credited artist behind Setia Jujur Dan Taqwa (SEJUTA), anchors their creative practice in the sprawling, multifaceted world of Indonesian musical creation, a space that has long nurtured creators who blend personal vision with the cultural threads that define their connection to the country they call home. As the sole artist tied to this sound, Wali carries forward the legacy of Indonesian creators who prioritize artistic autonomy over adherence to narrow industry expectations, a choice that ripples through every layer of the work that bears the title first conceived and brought to life as a fully realized sound from Wali’s evolving creative practice.
