About this Song
Pop, the global mainstream sound that adapts seamlessly to local linguistic and cultural nuances to turn shared, relatable human experiences into widely resonant work, anchors this Indonesian offering from Wali, the band behind the lyric video for Emang Dasar, a track that centers sharp, unflinching lyrical storytelling that cuts straight to the frustration of navigating repeated deception from an uncommitted partner. The track lists Apoy as its composer, with all mixing and mastering work completed in-house by Wali Band, tying the full sonic execution of the work to the same collective that helms its public presentation, leaning into the band’s hands-on approach to every stage of creating and releasing their music.
