About this Song
The flexible umbrella of the Music/Mix classification rejects rigid genre silos to center sonic works that blend stylistic traditions, experimental frameworks, and cross-contextual creative choices that never fit neatly into preassigned popular or traditional sonic labels, a space that holds works like Saat Indah Bersamamu, rooted in the sprawling, vibrant creative ecosystem of Indonesia. Music/Mix is intentionally broad, designed to hold space for any sound work that defies the narrow boxes often applied to recorded music, whether that means weaving disparate sonic approaches, incorporating unanticipated layers of sound, reworking existing musical motifs, or creating something that draws from so many unique reference points that no single genre label could ever encapsulate its full identity.
