The lyrics and musical notation at the core of Tuan Nona Kesepian (Studio Live) are the work of Tulus, the Indonesian creative force whose career is rooted in original, self-penned work that first launched widely in 2011. Taken from his self-titled debut album, simply titled Tulus, the studio live iteration of the track was released on June 23 of that same year, marking one of the earliest offerings from an artist who would go on to shape Indonesian music for decades to come. Tulus wears many creative and professional hats across his body of work, stepping beyond his role as a performer and songwriter to hold a critical position in the structure of TulusCompany, the record label and talent management firm he co-founded with his older sibling Riri Muktamar, who served as executive producer on Tuan Nona Kesepian (Studio Live) alongside the label itself.
