Indonesian creative Tulus launched his professional music journey in September 2011, building a career rooted in original songcraft that would define every project he released over the following decades. Far from only working as a performing and recording artist, Tulus took on a core structural role in the label and talent management firm he co-founded with his older sibling, Riri Muktamar, building TulusCompany into the backbone of all his creative output from the very start of his career. His first full-length album, the self-titled Tulus, arrived that same year in 2011, featuring all original work written by Tulus, and it would serve as the source material for one of his earliest widely shared official releases: the official music video for the track “Teman Hidup,” which TulusCompany released to audiences on September 23, 2012.
