This ethos defines the work of Tulus, who launched his musical journey in September 2011, building his career as a singer and songwriter who releases work written entirely by himself, while also investing in the infrastructure that supports fellow Indonesian creators. Beyond his work as a performing and writing artist, Tulus played a core role in building TulusCompany, the recording label and talent management firm he founded with his older sibling Riri Muktamar, which has gone on to release five full albums of his work, all of which feature songs written by Tulus, with longstanding creative partner Ari Renaldi serving as producer across every project.
