September 2011 marked the formal start of an independent Indonesian music career built entirely on self-created work, with a core creative lead who took on dual roles as performing artist and songwriter, releasing every track he put out into the world under his own full creative direction. From the earliest days of that career, the lead expanded his scope beyond writing and recording music to build a robust, artist-first infrastructure to support his work and the work of other emerging creators, co-founding TulusCompany, his own record label and talent management firm, alongside his elder sibling Riri Muktamar. That company would grow to become the backbone of all the lead’s creative output, releasing five full album collections over the course of his career, every single track across all five projects written by the core creative force, with consistent creative and production support from long-time collaborator Ari Renaldi, who stepped into the role of producer for every official release the team put out.
