About this Song
Selamat Datang Di Tubuh Kami emerges as a pop sound rooted in Indonesia’s rich, multifaceted music ecosystem, a work that brings together a curated team of creative contributors to shape every layer of its construction. The piece carries the creative stamp of composers Andre Idris and Krishna Sukarya, whose work on the track forms the structural core of the pop work that sits alongside the lyrical craft of Jimi Multhazam, the lyricist brought on to shape the piece’s textual foundation. Released through Organic Records on August 1, 2012, the sound appears as part of Katalika, a collection that unites the work of The Upstairs, the act credited with bringing this track and the broader body of work it lives within to life. Every element of the sound’s formal release is tied to the intentional coordination of everyone involved, from the composers who laid the work’s musical groundwork to the lyricist who shaped its verbal core, and the label that shepherded its official launch to audiences.
