Dewa 19, an Indonesian rock band formed in Surabaya, East Java, in 1986, presents "Laskar Cinta (Chapter One)." The band, led by singer-songwriter Ahmad Dhani, is recognized as one of Indonesia's greatest rock acts, having sold over 7 million albums in the country. Their musical style blends rock, pop rock, soft rock, alternative rock, symphonic rock, hard rock, pop metal, and arena rock, characterized by powerful yet melodic arrangements that integrate keyboard layers with guitar riffs. The band's name, Dewa, is an acronym of the founding members' names: Dhani, Erwin, Wawan, and Andra, with "19" added to represent the average age of the members when the band officially formed and began working on their first album in 1991. Dewa 19 disbanded in 2011 but regrouped in 2019 for reunion shows, frequently featuring guest vocalists such as former members Ari Lasso and Once Mekel, as well as Virzha and Marcello Tahitoe.
