"Angin" is a rock recording from Indonesia by Dewa 19, a band formed in Surabaya, East Java, in 1986. Considered one of the greatest rock bands in Indonesian popular music history, Dewa 19 is led by keyboardist and main songwriter Ahmad Dhani. The band's name, Dewa, is an acronym of the founding members' names: Dhani, Erwin, Wawan, and Andra, while the "19" signifies the average age of the members when the band was officially established and working on their first album in 1991. The band's musical style blends rock, pop rock, soft rock, alternative rock, symphonic rock, hard rock, pop metal, and arena rock, characterized by powerful yet melodic arrangements that integrate keyboard layers with guitar riffs. Dewa 19 has sold over 7 million albums in Indonesia and received numerous awards, including BASF Awards and AMI Awards. Rolling Stone Indonesia magazine included Dewa 19 in their 2008 list of "The Immortals: The 25 Greatest Indonesian Artists of All Time.
