About this Song
The collaborative pair of Tenxi and Naufal Syachreza, rooted in Indonesia’s creative landscape, present hoRRReg, a sound work classified under Music/Other, a categorization designed to hold space for creative output that defies the rigid, industry-standard genre buckets that often shape how most music is organized, contextualized, and shared. This classification is not a way to sideline work that doesn’t fit preexisting norms, but rather a deliberate choice to center the autonomy of creators whose work resists easy labeling, honoring that their creative vision can’t be reduced to the tags that are often applied to music to streamline marketing, distribution, and broad audience targeting.
