About this Song
Emotion Entertainment presents "Tampar," a 2022 release from Indonesia. The diversified entertainment and media company, founded in 2004, works across music, film, television, and digital technology. Its music division, E-Music, established in 2005, aims to foster artist relationships built on mutual trust and a shared love for music. "Tampar" was released by Juicy Luicy, a Bandung-based band formed in 2012, known for their jazzy and eclectic musical approach, incorporating instruments like trombone and saxophone. The band consists of Julian Kaisar (vocals), Denis Ligia (guitar), Zamzam Y.M (Saxophone), Dwi Nugroho (Drums), and Bina Bagja (Bass). "Tampar" discusses a person's struggle to move on from a past relationship, eventually realizing the need for a harsh reality check to accept the situation. Juicy Luicy’s debut album, *Sentimental*, released under the E-Motion label in 2020, was streamed over one million times on Spotify within a month.
