TAU DADI CERITO - AURA SEKAR - SIMPATIK MUSIC
About this Song
Indonesian hip-hop’s most compelling iterations often emerge from tight-knit creative collectives that root their work in shared creative labor and a commitment to building a distinct, recognizable sonic signature, an ethos that defines Simpatik Music, the Sidoarjo-based group that has built its entire output around collaborative, in-house artistry that sets it apart from independent acts that rely on rotating session teams. Simpatik Music’s core creative model centers on a full-time roster of dedicated musicians who contribute to every one of the group’s releases, each bringing specialized, honed skill to their role to create a cohesive, consistent sound that ties all of the collective’s work together, no matter the featured artist or core framework of an individual track.
