Simpatik Music is an official musical group hailing from Sidoarjo, Indonesia. The collective crafts work rooted in a distinct, signature sonic identity that blends multiple musical traditions to anchor its output. This live recording from the collective, captured at STGI Pandaan, falls under the broader hip-hop umbrella that defines much of the group’s released work. The recording, titled Salah Apa, features Laila Ayu and Irwan Krisdiyanto, two performers who have built an extensive catalog of collaborative duet work released exclusively through Simpatik Music’s channels. Guspa Diana holds the songwriting credit for the track, contributing the core creative foundation for the recording’s structure and composition. Every instrumental role on the live set is filled by a member of the Simpatik Music collective, each bringing specialized skill to the stage to bring Salah Apa to life for the audience gathered at the STGI Pandaan event.
