CINTA MEMBAWA DERITA - RIA AMELIA - LIVE GMPI KARAWANG - SIMPATIK MUSIC
About this Song
Hailing from Sidoarjo, Indonesia’s Simpatik Music has built its work around a distinct creative signature, shaping hip-hop that draws from the collective’s shared artistic vision to stand apart from other acts working in the space. Cinta Membawa Derita, captured live at GMPI Karawang and featuring Ria Amelia, embodies that collaborative approach, pairing the songwriting of Andra Respati with the full ensemble of Simpatik-affiliated musicians who bring the track to its full, realized form for the live setting. Every section of the recording is anchored by a dedicated artist who contributes their specific craft to the collective’s output: Guk Matt Simpatik handles kendang, laying the foundational rhythmic core that ties the track’s live performance together, while Kaji Oga Simpatik holds down the low end on bass, adding depth and stability to every passage.
