About this Song
Pop is a genre that transcends national borders, but every regional iteration of the form carries the unique imprint of the creative communities that nurture it, and that is exactly the case for this work, which emerges from the rich musical landscape of Indonesia, a nation that has spent decades building a robust popular music scene that supports both emerging and longstanding acts to share their work with audiences across the archipelago and around the world. Titled Sheila On 7 - Bertahan Di Sana (Video Clip), the work captures the group’s performance of the track, presented as a music video that pairs the recording of the pop track with visual footage built to frame the performance for audiences seeking to engage with both the sound of the work and its accompanying visual presentation. As a pop work tied to Indonesia’s established music ecosystem, the release falls under the umbrella of PT.
