The Indonesian pop recording "Sahabat Sejati" is by Sheila on 7, an alternative rock band formed in Yogyakarta on May 6, 1996. The band's initial lineup included Akhdiyat Duta Modjo on vocals, Saktia "Sakti" Ari Seno and Eross Candra on guitar, Adam Muhammad Subarkah on bass, and Anton Widiastanto on drums. The name "Sheila on 7" refers to the seven-note solfège, and their fanbase is known as "Sheilagank." Sheila on 7 signed with Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia in 1998, releasing their self-titled debut album in 1999. This debut album was ranked #33 on *Rolling Stone Indonesia*'s "The 150 Greatest Indonesian Albums of All Time" and achieved multi-platinum status. Sheila on 7 holds the distinction of being the first Indonesian band to sell over one million copies for each of their first three albums. Their second album, *Kisah Klasik Untuk Masa Depan* (2000), topped the *Billboard* Malaysia Hits Albums chart and is listed at #8 on the all-time best-selling Indonesian albums.
