About this Song
Ini Cinta anchors itself as a pop work rooted in the Indonesian music landscape, the kind of creation that fits within the broader, globally interconnected framework of pop that draws its core identity from the regional creative contexts that shape every work classified under that genre. Pop as a global artistic category does not exist as a monolith, and every pop work tied to a specific national and cultural context carries the weight and richness of that location’s longstanding relationship to pop creation, even as the core identifiers of the sound situate it clearly within the larger ecosystem of recorded sound.
