Born in Bandung, Indonesia on May 28, 2000, singer and songwriter Nadin Amizah first stepped into the public eye in 2016, when she appeared on the private TV station program “Social Media Sensation,” marking the first public showcase of the creative voice that would go on to shape a body of work rooted in personal passion and intentional artistic collaboration. Her first foray into the professional music industry came alongside Indonesian DJ Dipha Barus, on an electronic duet called “All Good” that earned industry awards, setting the stage for a string of releases that drew from the specific creative influences that shaped her approach to writing and performing. English indie-folk artist Birdy forms one of the most defining influences on Amizah’s work, shaping both her singing style and her approach to songwriting, a throughline that carries through every track she creates.
