About this Song
Rossa serves as the direct producer of this pop sound from Indonesia. The track’s musical arrangement comes from Dipha Barus, built to anchor the full album Asmara Dansa, which carries a fresh pop and dance club tone. The album is set for release on October 10, 2025, with a new version of Sheila Majid’s classic hit, Sinaran, serving as its lead single. The official lyric video for this iteration of Sinaran, which pairs Rossa with MK of Malaysian rap collective K-Clique, frames the track’s core creative choice to layer distinct rap energy through the middle of the beloved original recording. The entire Asmara Dansa project operates as a tribute to two legends of the region’s shared musical heritage: Chrisye and Sheila Majid. Rossa shares that she has wanted to create an album centered on this exact pop and dance club tone for many years, and that she feels immense joy that the project has finally come to fruition.
