Ifan Seventeen, born Riefian Fajarsyah in Yogyakarta on March 16, 1983, and raised in Jakarta, established himself as a prominent figure in Indonesian pop and Malay pop music. His career began a significant chapter in 2008 when he successfully auditioned to become the vocalist for the band Seventeen, replacing their previous singer. At the time Ifan joined, Seventeen was already a recognized name within the Indonesian music industry. As both a singer and a songwriter, Ifan contributed to the creation of several popular songs for the band, including "Lelaki Hebat," "Selalu Mengalah," "Jaga Selalu Hatimu," "Jalan Terbaik," "Menemukanmu," "Ayah," and "Kemarin." A profound turning point in Ifan's life and career occurred in 2018 when he tragically lost all of his bandmates in a tsunami disaster. Despite this immense loss, Ifan demonstrated resilience by continuing his musical journey.
