Ifan Seventeen, born Riefian Fajarsyah in Yogyakarta on March 16, 1983, and raised in Jakarta, established his musical career in Indonesia by joining the band Seventeen as a vocalist in 2008, following an audition process that saw him replace the group's previous singer. At the time of his arrival, Seventeen was already a recognized entity within the Indonesian music industry, and Ifan quickly contributed to their repertoire as both a singer and songwriter, crafting popular songs such as “Lelaki Hebat,” “Selalu Mengalah,” “Jaga Selalu Hatimu,” “Jalan Terbaik,” “Menemukanmu,” “Ayah,” and “Kemarin.” A profound turning point in his life and career occurred in 2018 when a tsunami disaster claimed the lives of all his bandmates; despite this immense loss, Ifan persevered in his musical endeavors.
