Indonesian singer-songwriter Jo Soegono, born Yoakim Soegono, is known for blending Brazilian traditional music, including samba and Latin jazz, with Indonesian lyrics, often incorporating R&B and Contemporary R&B elements. His debut album, *Prof Jo*, officially released in November 2025, expanded on an earlier EP of the same title from 2023. The album features nine songs exploring relationships, life's complexities, and self-reflection, incorporating rock samba, Latin jazz, and bossa nova.
