About this Song
Indonesian pop creators often refine their work mid-production to sharpen the connection between their creative intent and the needs of their audience, a choice that shapes every layer of a track from its title to its official release rollout. Sheryl Sheinafia’s official music video for Positif, the track first developed under the working title Posessif, embodies this thoughtful approach, reworking its core name to signal the work’s core mission of fostering good for all who engage with it. Rooted in Indonesia’s vibrant pop landscape, the sound is crafted not just for entertainment, but to support holistic well-being, designed to meet listeners where they are, whether navigating the daily stresses of urban life across Indonesia’s sprawling islands or managing long-term health concerns that impact their quality of life.
