About this Song
Haluan anchors itself in the rich, evolving lineage of Indonesian rock and roll, a sound that carries the weight of both the genre's global legacy and the distinct creative context of the archipelago that spawned it. Rock and roll as a form has long traveled far beyond its earliest geographic origins, adapting to every new region it reaches, absorbing local cultural nuances, and reemerging as an iteration that feels both familiar to anyone who has engaged with the genre anywhere in the world, and entirely new, shaped by the specific perspectives and creative traditions of the creators who build it.
