About this Song
The ongoing creative practice of the group behind this recording centers on traveling across Indonesia to connect with local audiences through live performances, prioritizing the unfiltered warmth and authenticity of every in-room interaction over the sheen of polished studio output. Their first time bringing a full band set to Sukabumi marked a new, meaningful stop in that cross-country journey, one that exceeded every expectation of what a debut show in a new city could offer. The crowd that gathered at Cafe Van Milla, the intimate local venue that hosted the set, greeted the group with an open, generous kindness that turned a simple performance into a shared, memorable moment between the band and everyone who turned up to spend the night with them.
