About this Song
Perunggu, the artist credited for the sound Prematur, is based in Indonesia, where a centuries-long legacy of diverse, regionally specific musical practice across the archipelago’s thousands of islands has fostered a creative ecosystem where artists often push beyond the limits of standard industry genre labels to make work that centers their own unique creative priorities, rather than conforming to the expectations of global mainstream markets that tend to box creative output into easily marketable, widely recognizable categories.
