About this Song
From Indonesia, For Revenge delivers alternative and emo rock, a style they have cultivated since their formation in 2006. The band is known for its energetic guitar, strong rhythms, and emotional, raw, and reflective lyrics. Their sound often incorporates elements of post-hardcore or screamo, exploring themes of heartbreak, loss, moving on, and the anxieties of youth. The current lineup features Boniex Noer on vocals, Arief Ismail on guitar, Izha Muhammad on bass, and Archims Pribadi on drums. For Revenge released their debut album, "Fireworks," in 2010, followed by "Second Chance" in 2013, "Auristella" in 2019, and "Perayaan Patah Hati – Babak 1" in 2022. They have also released singles such as "Serana" and "Jakarta Hari Ini," and collaborated with artists like Stereo Wall, Fiersa Besari, and Wira Nagara. The song "Semula" continues their tradition of honest emotional exploration.
