About this Song
The creator responsible for this work is grounded in the vast, interconnected network of creative practitioners across the Philippines, a landscape that nurtures a wide range of approaches to crafting sound work that exists within and outside of established global categories of audio creation. Every creator working out of the country brings with them a set of shared and individual experiences tied to the spaces they move through, the communities they engage with, and the long lineage of audio craft that has developed across the archipelago’s many islands, each contributing unique threads to the broader tapestry of sound that emerges from the nation.
