Pamungkas, the Indonesian singer, record producer, songwriter, and actor, presents the pop recording "Putus." Born Rizki Rahmahadian Pamungkas, he began his musical journey at age eight with drum lessons to improve his hearing, later teaching himself piano and guitar, which led to songwriting and singing. Pamungkas launched his solo career in 2016 under his self-founded label, Maspam Records, after joining the band Potenzio in 2009. His music blends folk, electronic sounds, and pop, characterized by heartfelt lyrics, catchy melodies, and a distinctive voice. Pamungkas is known for his introspective lyricism and a hands-on approach to writing and producing his material, drawing influence from British artists such as The Beach Boys, Radiohead, The Beatles, The Smiths, and Arctic Monkeys, as well as modern electronic artists like Disclosure, FKJ, Maggie Rogers, Jacob Collier, and Rex Orange County. His songwriting style is inspired by Lennon/McCartney, John Mayer, Sondre Lerche, and Bob Dylan.
