About this Song
The Indonesian recording, "the cure," is credited to Olivia Rodrigo, an American singer-songwriter and actress born on February 20, 2003, in Murrieta, California. Rodrigo began her career as a child actress, appearing in commercials and the 2015 direct-to-video film *An American Girl: Grace Stirs Up Success*. She gained prominence through her leading roles in Disney Channel's *Bizaardvark* (2016–2019) and Disney+'s *High School Musical: The Musical: The Series* (2019–2022). In 2020, she signed with Geffen Records, shifting her focus to music. Her debut studio album, *Sour* (2021), topped the US Billboard 200 and nine other charts worldwide, featuring the US Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles "Drivers License" and "Good 4 U." Rodrigo's second album, *Guts*, released in 2023, also debuted atop the Billboard 200, receiving critical acclaim and being declared by BBC News as the most critically acclaimed album of 2023.
