About this Song
From Indonesia’s vibrant cross-pollination of traditional performance and contemporary pop emerges Tangise Tole, the official music video carrying the full official title Niken Salindry - TANGISE TOLE - Kembar Campursari ( Official Music Video ), a work that anchors its emotional weight in the sharp, intimate narrative woven through its lyrics and carried by a performer deeply rooted in the country’s musical landscape. The artist behind the track, Niken Salindry, is a Kediri-born sinden and dangdut singer who has earned widespread recognition across Indonesia under the affectionate nickname “sinden cilik,” bringing a lifetime of training in traditional and popular Indonesian musical forms to every note of her performance. Gun Krewol is the songwriter behind the track’s searing narrative, while Kembar Campursari crafts the work’s full musical foundation, building a sound that balances broad pop accessibility with the cultural specificity that defines Niken’s artistic identity.
