NIKEN SALINDRY - HELIKOPTER TURUN KE PADANG (IDOL IDOL) - Kembar Campursari (Official Music Video)
About this Song
Indonesia’s dynamic pop ecosystem weaves together longstanding local performance traditions with contemporary accessible sound, bringing forward creators who cut their teeth in community-centered creative spaces before reaching broader audiences. At the heart of that lineage is Niken Salindry, a Kediri-born sinden and dangdut singer who first earned widespread recognition across Indonesian communities as a sinden cilik, a title marking her early mastery of the vocal craft that defines many of the country’s most beloved traditional and popular sounds. Her work on the track IDOL IDOL, part of the output from Kembar Campursari, extends that lineage, blending the pop framework with the hands-on, collaborative creative process that defines independent regional production hubs across Indonesia.
