Naff, a rock band from Bandung, Indonesia, formed in 1998 with an initial lineup including Ady on vocals, Ade and Dedi Ginanjar Raksawardana on guitars, Odeu Wijaya on bass, and Hilal Hamzah on drums. The band released their debut album, *Terlahir*, in 2000, followed by *Terbang Tinggi* in 2001, which brought them significant popularity. Their 2002 album, *NaFF*, introduced Hilal as a new member, and the song "Terendap Laraku" from their 2003 album of the same name later became a popular single. In 2006, Naff released *Isyarat Hati*, an album critically acclaimed for its eclectic and exploratory sound, incorporating elements of Minang music, and listed by *Rolling Stone Indonesia* as one of the top ten albums of that year. "Bila Aku Pulang," a song from *Isyarat Hati*, can be interpreted as a desire for a warm welcome upon reuniting with a loved one. Naff signed with Warner Music Indonesia in 2014.
