About this Song
Nadin Amizah, an Indonesian singer and songwriter from Bandung, West Java, presents "Mendarah" as part of her diverse musical output, which often explores themes of anxiety, confusion, and the complexities of adulthood. Known for her indie folk style and heartfelt performances, Amizah's artistic approach is deeply influenced by her mother's literary background, contributing to her characteristically deep and meaningful lyrics. Her career gained significant momentum after her 2017 collaboration with Dipha Barus on "All Good," which earned her an Anugerah Musik Indonesia award for Best Dance/Electronic Production Work. Following this success, Amizah shifted her focus towards folk music, a direction solidified by her debut solo single, "Rumpang," in 2018. This track not only won Best Folk/Country/Ballad Production Work but also secured her the Best New Artist award at the 2019 Anugerah Musik Indonesia.
