Jakarta-born pop singer-songwriter Nadhif Basalamah built his artistic identity around heartfelt storytelling that unpacks the quiet, vulnerable nuances of love and youth, first introducing his work to audiences with his 2024 debut album, titled simply Nadhif. In the wake of that first full-length release, he achieved major chart success across his home country of Indonesia and neighboring Malaysia, earning mainstream traction for a string of standout tracks that included “kota ini tak sama tanpamu”, “bergema sampai selamanya”, and “penjaga hati”. Alongside the core release of his breakout hit, he also developed a regional collaborative version of kota ini tak sama tanpamu alongside Aziz Harun and Aisha Retno, the same co-writers who contributed to the track’s original creation, and the official visual accompaniment for the track was created by Syamil Raihan Akram.
