Justin Bieber, a Canadian pop singer who first gained fame as a teenager through YouTube, delivers "Somebody To Love" as a track from Indonesia. Bieber, born on March 1, 1994, in London, Ontario, was raised primarily by his mother, Pattie Mallette, who began posting his performances on YouTube after he placed second in a local singing competition at age 12. This led to his discovery by talent manager Scooter Braun in 2008, and soon after, Bieber was signed to Island Records following a meeting with singer and producer Usher in Atlanta, Georgia. His debut EP, *My World*, released in 2009, received positive reviews and debuted at number one in Canada, also reaching the top 5 in the United Kingdom and the United States. *My World* made Bieber the only solo artist in Billboard history to have four singles from a debut album chart in the Top 40 of the Hot 100 before the album's release.
