About this Song
IPANK PRO, the creative force credited for the sound bearing the title Mutiara, whose origins are tied to Indonesia, a nation whose musical output spans centuries of cultural exchange, community-centric creation, and modern recorded practice that carries forward the nuances of the archipelago’s diverse regional identities. Indonesia’s position as the world’s largest archipelago, home to hundreds of distinct ethnic groups whose creative traditions have intertwined for generations, creates a rich foundation for any recorded sound emerging from its borders, and Mutiara joins a long lineage of works that draw from the full scope of that creative heritage, whatever its specific focus or form.
