The Filipino pop rock band Cup of Joe released "Multo" on September 14, 2024, as the lead single from their debut album, *Silakbo*. The song's title means "ghost" in Tagalog, and its lyrics explore themes of lingering memories and regrets. "Multo" achieved significant chart success, becoming the first song by a Filipino act to enter the Billboard Global 200, where it peaked at No. 80. It also topped the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 for 33 non-consecutive weeks, making it the longest-running number one song on that chart. The band, which formed in November 2018 in Baguio, signed with Viva Records in 2019. Their current lineup includes lead vocalists Gian Bernardino and Raphaell Ridao, lead guitarist Gabriel Fernandez, rhythm guitarist CJ Fernandez, and keyboardist Xen Gareza. Former bassist Raphael Severino was a member for five years, departing in June 2024.
