Little White Lies
About this Song
The Indonesian recording "Little White Lies" by One Direction is categorized under Music/Other/Other. One Direction, an English-Irish pop boy band, was formed in London in 2010 during the British singing competition show *The X Factor*. The original members—Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson—each initially auditioned as solo artists before being grouped together. Guest judge Nicole Scherzinger and long-time judge Simon Cowell both claimed credit for the idea of forming the band, with unseen 2022 footage from *The X Factor* confirming Scherzinger's significant role, as she chose Horan first, followed by Styles, Tomlinson, Payne, and Malik. Harry Styles coined the band's name, often abbreviated to 1D. Finishing third in the seventh series of *The X Factor* in 2010, One Direction subsequently signed a reported £2 million record deal with Syco Records from Simon Cowell and also signed with Columbia Records in North America.
