In the realm of Indonesian music, where diverse sounds often defy easy categorization, Raim Laode's work frequently stands out. Born La Ode Raimudin on April 28, 1994, in Wakatobi, Southeast Sulawesi, Laode first established himself as a comedian before venturing into music. His career began in 2014 within the Stand Up Indo community in Kenari, leading to a top-four finish in Stand Up Comedy Academy season two (SUCA 2) in 2016. This comedic success also led to his appointment as the tourism ambassador of Wakatobi. Laode’s transition to music began in 2018 with his debut song, "Cemburu," released on October 6. He continued to release music, including "Salah" and "Suasana Rumah" in 2019, and a collaboration with Rizky Teng titled "Su Terlalu Lama" in 2021. The year 2022 saw the release of "Sang Badut" and the highly popular single "Komang" on August 16, which quickly gained traction across social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
