Daniel Baskara Putra, known professionally as Hindia, balances careers as a singer, songwriter, record producer, composer, and lecturer, building his entire body of work from his native Jakarta, Indonesia, where he was born on February 22, 1994. His first formal step into the music industry came in 2012, when he founded the band .Feast, where he served as the group’s vocalist for six years before branching out to launch his independent solo career under the Hindia moniker in 2018. That solo work would expand far beyond his initial output, with additional collaborative projects emerging as his career grew, including the 2021 formation of Lomba Sihir, a group he built from the ranks of his own touring live band to explore new creative territory.
