About this Song
This pop recording from Nigeria, "Menikmati Cinta," is an example of the "Organic Music" style pioneered by MALIQ & D'Essentials. The group, founded on May 15, 2002, defines "MALIQ" as an acronym for Music And Live Instrument Quality, reflecting their focus on live instrumentation. MALIQ & D'Essentials' sound is shaped by its eight personnel, including brothers Angga and Widi Puradiredja, who are the group's vocalist and drummer, respectively, and also serve as producers, composers, and arrangers. The band's lineup is completed by Indah on vocals, Jawa on bass, Lale on guitars, and Ilman on keys.
