About this Song
Indonesia’s pop scene draws from a rich tapestry of local musical traditions, weaving time-honored artistic signatures into contemporary structures to create work that resonates deeply with domestic audiences while carrying one-of-a-kind creative identity. Ada Cerita, the official music video and single from Indonesian pop artist Lesti, embodies this balance perfectly, arriving as a standout release that expands Lesti’s discography in a bold new direction. 2019 marked a career-defining year for Lesti, who first earned widespread acclaim that year for her collaborative track with Fildan, “Lebih dari Selamanya”, before turning her focus to launching this new solo single. Ahead of Ada Cerita’s release, Lesti unveiled a new, more calming public image, one she believed aligned perfectly with the emotional core of the track, as she set out to deliver the strongest performance of her career to that point.
