About This Album
The Indonesian pop collective rooted in Seyegan, a small subdistrict within Sleman Regency in Yogyakarta’s Special Region, formally established their creative partnership on July 1, 2020, bringing together a full roster of members unified by their shared love of accessible, widely resonant popular music and the longstanding local sonic traditions that shape creative output across Java. The group shares its name with its landmark full-length album, Lavora, a project that distills the core of the collective’s artistic vision, leaning into the pop framework that defines their official genre classification while integrating the dangdut influences that have been central to their identity since their first days of writing and rehearsing together in their home community.
