The sprawling Indonesian pop project Aku Dan Mesin Waktu, the flagship large-scale collaboration from dr.m, unfolds in a carefully curated chronological sequence that ties standalone music releases, companion short film episodes, and behind-the-scenes creation content into a cohesive narrative experience for audiences. The project’s core premise centers on four tracks from four distinct artists, each released as a numbered chapter that builds toward a full-length short film that weaves all their individual stories into one unified whole. The first chapter of the project launches with Budi Doremi’s track “Mesin Waktu,” followed by the second chapter, Last Child’s “Menyerah,” before Caitlin Halderman’s “Apa Ini Cinta” arrives as the third chapter, and Virgoun’s “Orang Yang Sama” closes out the sequence of core track releases as the fourth chapter.
