The cross-disciplinary creative project Aku Dan Mesin Waktu, fronted by dr.m, reimagines what a pop music rollout can be, weaving original tracks from four beloved Indonesian pop acts into a cohesive narrative universe that unfolds across music videos, standalone short films, and behind-the-scenes content that invites fans to engage with every layer of its creation. The project is built around four core songs, each from a different artist: Budi Doremi, Caitlin Halderman, Virgoun, and Last Child, the Indonesian pop group behind the official video for Last Child - PEDIH (New) [OFFICIAL VIDEO], released under the band’s official @myLASTCHILD handle. Last Child’s contribution to the project extends far beyond Pedih, with their track Menyerah anchoring the second chapter of the project’s five-part structured rollout, which maps each artist’s track to a sequential chapter that builds toward the full short film that ties all the project’s narratives together.
