About this Song
The cross-disciplinary creative project Aku Dan Mesin Waktu weaves Indonesian pop music into a cohesive, multi-chapter narrative that unites four distinct acts across standalone tracks and connected short-form film, creating a shared universe where every musical release builds toward a larger emotional and story-driven whole. Within this universe, Last Child’s Dunia Untukmu, released as an official lyric video and featured on the album Surat Cinta Untuk Starla, sits alongside the group’s other contribution to the project, the track Menyerah, which anchors the second chapter of the initiative’s core release slate. The project’s full structure unfolds across five defined chapters, with the first four centering on an original track from each of the four participating artists, each release laying the narrative groundwork for the full short film that closes out the project.
