Indonesian rock band Nidji, formed in Jakarta in February 2002, performs "Teroesir (Menunggu Karma)." The band's name comes from the Japanese word "niji" (虹), meaning "rainbow." Nidji's music is categorized under the alternative pop genre, with influences including Coldplay and The Killers. The band is known for catchy melodies, intense guitar riffs, and relatable lyrics, often described as anthemic, inspiring, and uplifting. Their 2025 album, *Manifestasi Hati*, expands their pop-rock sound to include piano pop, post-punk, soft pop, and soft rock. Nidji signed a record deal with Musica Studios, releasing their debut album, *Breakthru'*, in 2005, which sold over 300,000 copies and received a double platinum award. An English-language version of *Breakthru'* was released in 2006. Their second album, *Top Up*, followed in 2007.
